It has been very busy here in the Lindsey house since the summer. We have been busy with school and many activities with the kids. We also are fixing up our house. We are cleaning out things that just need to go. Some things came with the house and some things have just accrued. I am so happy to be "spring cleaning". I love the purge and organize projects. I love being able to change things around and sell or give things away that are just cluttering our house. Currently the music room is looking pretty fabulous thanks to my husband. He has finally cleaned out things that don't need to be in there and it definitely looks like a place to jam on the weekends with his friends and our son. The next big project is to reorganize and clean out the entertainment room. It is full of all kinds of stuff like books, movies, games, and a whole lot of extra stuff that just doesn't need to be in there. I am hoping that we can remove some more cupboards and replace them with something more entertaining looking. Our basement needs to be finished as well. It is almost clean and this spring we are bombing it with a spider bomb. We are overly bombarded with spiders, especially daddy longlegs in our basement. They aren't the smaller ones either. They are pretty big. Hopefully we will be able to work on that soon.
Miss princess is officially a cheerleader which is exciting in itself. She loves it and she's pretty good. A few weeks ago she broker her pinky finger at our church community group. Last week she had the flu. Yesterday she had her first cheering game. She was so nervous because she didn't think that she would know the moves. She did pretty good for not being there for a whole week. She will be participating in the Miss Pre-Teen Caribou Pageant in March. While I am already nervous about it, she is excited. We go to our first meeting next Thursday.
Tait continues to amaze me. She is homeschooling this year. However, she plans to go back to the high school in the fall. She is such a smart cookie. I am so proud of the beautiful, talented, and smart young woman she has become. She has such a good head on her shoulders.
Bubba is doing awesome with homeschooling as well. He is almost done his 7th grade curriculum and has already asked us to order his 8th grade curriculum so that in the fall he can be a freshman. He's not sure if he wants to go back to public school. I'm not sure what is better for him at this moment in time. It is definitely something we need to pray about. As much as I would like for him to be back in public school, even for just the social aspect of it, I know that he is doing so much better at home.
I haven't been too busy with my photography business lately. I am kind of bummed about it because photography is my passion and it pays for the gas in my van, cat food, and kitty litter. I've prayed that God will send someone my way. However, I think that God is telling me that my place at this moment in time is at home with my family. I have a feeling that something big will be happening soon. Not sure what it will bring. There are many doctor's appointments, cheerleading practices, and pageant practices coming up. Please pray that God is leading us and we are following in the right direction.
Guess I'd better head to make supper now. Have a blessed evening!!

Wow, everyone is growing up so much! I'm glad you blogged! I know just what you mean about not knowing quite what to do with the kids as they get older school-wise.
