Since all the hubub of Bo coming home, I haven't had a chance to post. I've been spending pretty much every minute with him. Well yesterday, he went back to work. I am proud to say that my husband has quit smoking. Something that he has tried before many times. I think that this time is going to be much better. He is using the patch although today he is without one. He is also using blow pop lollipops to help with the cravings. It's something he can hold on to like a cigarette and not be one. I am really hoping this is going to be successful.
I am planning our school year again. It seems like we just finished and I'm getting ready for the next year. I have found a really nice page on Donna Young that I can fit a semesters worth of classes on one page. I really like it because I can type it up and print it out and it's done for nine weeks. However I want to get the whole year done so that's what I'm doing. So far I have done two semesters worth of math for Grace.I should get going on the rest of it soon.
We have been slowly going through the stuff that Bo brought home from his dad's.I have to say that this stuff smells horrible. Even the boxes smell like smoke. I now realize why his nickname was smoke. It's because that is all he did. He was a heavy smoker. I'm glad that Bo is quitting.
We are heading out in a few hours because the girls have eye appointments. It is so funny because Grace hopes that she can get glasses. I find it weird because most people know that after you get glasses you hate them and don't want them anymore. Tai doesn't even wear hers half the time. Bubba doesn't wear his at all.I think I'm going to try to bring in my old pair of glasses to see if they can get fixed without me having to pay anything for it or very little. I really like those frames but I broke the arm off it at the beginning of the year. The warranty is probably up on it though since I've had them for about three years. Oh well. I guess it's worth a try.
Anyway.. I hope you all have a nice day. I'm going to see my niece after the girls eye appointment. I am so excited about that.
